Car
If you are driving from anywhere within Maumee Bay State Park, head west towards State Route 2 (East), and take the exit toward I-75 South. Merge onto I-75 South and continue for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 203A for US-24 North toward Maumee. Continue on US-24 North for about 5 miles, then take the exit toward Maumee and merge onto River Road. The Maumee Valley Historical Society will be on your left at 1035 River Rd, Maumee, OH 43537.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you will first need to take the TARTA bus from the Maumee Bay State Park area. Board the TARTA Route 4 bus towards Downtown Toledo at the nearest bus stop. Ride until you reach the stop at Main St at 5th St. From there, transfer to Route 25 bus towards Maumee. Once you arrive in Maumee, disembark at the stop closest to River Rd (about a 10-minute walk). Walk east on River Rd for about 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at the Maumee Valley Historical Society located at 1035 River Rd. Please check the TARTA website for current schedules and any potential fare costs.
