From the Visitor Center at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, head south on Refuge Road. Continue straight for about 4 miles until you reach the intersection with State Highway 49. Turn left onto State Highway 49 and drive for approximately 2 miles. Look for a small parking area on the right side of the highway; this will lead you to The Pear and Apple. The Pear and Apple is located nearby, so be prepared for a short walk to the attraction.
