If you are traveling by private car, start your journey from the city center of Al Hajar Ash Sharqi. Head east on Route 23 towards Ibra. Drive for approximately 1 hour (about 70 kilometers). Once you reach Ibra, look for signs directing you to Wadi Bani Khalid. After following the signs, take a left turn at the junction and continue for about 30 minutes until you arrive at the Wadi Bani Khalid Pools & Cave, located at J39V+P73.

To reach Wadi Bani Khalid using public transportation, first, take a bus from Al Hajar Ash Sharqi to Ibra. Buses generally leave from the main bus station and the fare is around 2 Omani Rial. Once you arrive in Ibra, you can either take a taxi directly to Wadi Bani Khalid, which will cost approximately 5 Omani Rial, or you can catch a local minibus heading towards the wadi for around 1 Omani Rial. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to Wadi Bani Khalid.
