Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the main city of Al Hamra, head northeast on Route 21 towards Jebel Shams. Follow the signs for Jebel Shams and continue for approximately 40 km until you reach the entrance of the resort. The road is well-marked, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, use the coordinates 23.2080625, 57.1975625 to navigate directly to the resort's parking area.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Jebel Shams Resort via public transportation, first take a bus or shared taxi from Muscat to Al Hamra. Once in Al Hamra, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Jebel Shams Resort. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, as there may not be a meter. The taxi ride from Al Hamra to the resort will take around 30 minutes and will cost approximately 10 OMR. Make sure to confirm the driver is familiar with the location, as it can be remote.

• Walking or Hiking

  For the adventurous, if you are already in the vicinity of Jebel Shams, you can hike to the resort from nearby hiking trails. Make sure to have a map or a GPS device, as the trails can be steep and challenging.
