Walking
If you are in the heart of Muttrah, you can easily walk to the Old Watch Tower. Start at the Muttrah Corniche, which is a popular promenade by the waterfront. Head towards the direction of the Muttrah Fort, which is a well-known landmark. Continue walking along the Corniche until you reach the base of the hill where the Old Watch Tower is located. From the Corniche, you will see a steep path leading upwards. The path is well-trodden and will take you directly to the Old Watch Tower.

Public Transportation (Bus)
You can take a local bus that runs through Muttrah. Look for the bus stop near the Muttrah Souq. Board a bus that is heading towards the Al Jalali Fort direction. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Muttrah Fort stop. From there, you can walk the remaining distance to the Old Watch Tower, which is about a 10-minute walk uphill. Make sure to have small change ready for the bus fare, which is generally around 0.5 OMR.
