Walking
Start your journey at the Nizwa Fort, a central landmark in Nizwa. Head south towards the main road, Al-Batinah St. (Route 21). Once you reach the road, turn left and continue straight for about 1.5 km until you see the signs for Tanuf. Look for a small path on the right leading towards the mountains. Follow this path for another 3 km, which will take you through some beautiful landscapes. As you approach Arch Tanuf, you will see the impressive rock formations in front of you.

Public Transport
From Nizwa Souq, take a local bus heading towards Bahla. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Tanuf. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you get off, head back along the road (Route 21) for about 1 km until you reach the entrance of Arch Tanuf. Follow the signs and local paths to reach the arch.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Nizwa. Start at the Nizwa Fort and cycle south onto Al-Batinah St. (Route 21). Continue for about 1.5 km until you see the dirt path leading to Tanuf. Follow this path for approximately 3 km, enjoying the scenic views of the surrounding area. Once you reach Arch Tanuf, park your bike at the designated area and explore the majestic rock formations.
