Getting There

Walking
From the center of Sur, head towards the main road (Sultan Qaboos Street). Follow the street towards the east for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road leading to the coast. Continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach the coastal promenade. At this point, look for local buses or shared taxis (known as 'microbuses') that head towards the nearest town to Wadi Mibam, which is Sayq.

Public Transportation
Once you reach the coastal promenade, locate the bus stop for local transport to Sayq. Buses run frequently, and the fare is minimal. Make sure to ask the driver if the bus goes to Sayq or inform them of your destination. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Sayq, you will need to find a local guide or arrange for a taxi to take you to Wadi Mibam, as it is about 10 kilometers from the town.

Hiking
If you're feeling adventurous and fit, you can hike from Sayq to Wadi Mibam. The hike is approximately 10 kilometers and will take around 2-3 hours. Make sure to carry sufficient water and wear proper hiking shoes. Follow the dirt paths towards the mountains, and keep an eye out for trail markers or ask locals for guidance. The views along the way are spectacular, and you will eventually reach the beautiful Wadi Mibam.
