I spent four magnificent days between the mountains of Jabal Akhdar, the wadis, and the desert, accompanied by Khalid. Traveling alone, I wanted to feel completely at ease — and that was the case from the very first moment. Professional, discreet, and deeply respectful, Khalid made the entire experience smooth and serene. We walked together through the villages to better understand them, took time to explore the wadis, and crossed the desert safely. His driving, both in the mountains and on the desert tracks, was impeccable, and the 4x4 perfectly suited to the terrain. The value for money is excellent considering the level of service and attention to detail. Traveling alone can be a challenge; with Khalid, it becomes a rare and inspiring experience. 2 Day Private Trip to Two Oasis with Overnight Desert Camping

A glimpse into Oman's most beautiful natural attractions

Due to last-minute participant changes, only the guide/owner Yahia and I went on the trip. First stop was at Bimmah Sinkhole where I had some nice fish therapy for feet. After traditional and tasty Omanese lunch we headed at Wadi Shab. That place was a real gem! The hike to the pools was fun. We arrived at the desert camp just before sunset. We climbed up to the top of the dunes. It was surprisingly strenuous, but the magic of the sunset made it all worthwhile. After that Yahia prepared a delicious barbeque dinner for us. I slept very well in the desert camp under two blankets, wearing woolen layers. Early in the morning, we returned to the dunes to admire the indescribably beautiful sunrise. On the second day we visited Wadi Bani, which is also an adorable Oasis. It is more accessible to everyone and offers more services for visitors than Wadi Shab. I´m quite an experienced solo traveler, but I still gained new experiences from this trip. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time, and I was very well looked after. Since Yahia was cultured and cosmopolitan, we had some really interesting conversations about life in general. I warmly recommend this tour.
