Amazing desert experience — highly recommend! Such an incredible two-day experience. The desert camp was definitely one of the highlights — a beautiful setup in the dunes, watching the sunset from the top of the dunes, relaxing at camp afterward, and having a great dinner under the desert sky. It was such a special way to experience Oman. Wadi Shab was also amazing and one of the best hikes I’ve done — the combination of hiking, swimming through the wadi, and reaching the hidden cave at the end made it unforgettable. The guides were fantastic throughout the entire trip, very knowledgeable and accommodating, and made everything easy and enjoyable. A perfect combination of adventure, scenery, and a unique desert experience. Highly recommend!

2 Day Private Trip to Two Oasis with Overnight Desert Camping

Due to last-minute participant changes, only the guide/owner Yahia and I went on the trip. First stop was at Bimmah Sinkhole where I had some nice fish therapy for feet. After traditional and tasty Omanese lunch we headed at Wadi Shab. That place was a real gem! The hike to the pools was fun. We arrived at the desert camp just before sunset. We climbed up to the top of the dunes. It was surprisingly strenuous, but the magic of the sunset made it all worthwhile. After that Yahia prepared a delicious barbeque dinner for us. I slept very well in the desert camp under two blankets, wearing woolen layers. Early in the morning, we returned to the dunes to admire the indescribably beautiful sunrise. On the second day we visited Wadi Bani, which is also an adorable Oasis. It is more accessible to everyone and offers more services for visitors than Wadi Shab. I´m quite an experienced solo traveler, but I still gained new experiences from this trip. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time, and I was very well looked after. Since Yahia was cultured and cosmopolitan, we had some really interesting conversations about life in general. I warmly recommend this tour.
