Car
If you're driving, start by heading east on I-84 from Portland. Take exit 35 for Corbett and merge onto Historic Columbia River Hwy. Follow the scenic highway for approximately 15 miles. Look for the Oneonta Gorge trailhead on your left, just past the Oneonta Falls viewpoint. There is a small parking area available, but it can fill up quickly, so arrive early.
Public Transportation
To reach Oneonta Gorge using public transportation, take the TriMet MAX Light Rail Blue Line from downtown Portland towards Gresham. Transfer at the Gateway Transit Center to the MAX Green Line towards Clackamas Town Center. Get off at the stop for the Historic Columbia River Highway. From there, it is about a 2-mile walk along the highway to the Oneonta Gorge trailhead. Be cautious of the traffic as you walk along the highway.
