If you are driving from Hood River, head west on I-84 E for about 15 miles. Take exit 44 for Cascade Locks. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Cascade Locks Highway. Continue on this road for about 1 mile until you see signs for Oneonta Tunnel on your right. There is a parking area available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Oneonta Tunnel via public transportation, take the Columbia Gorge Express from Portland. The bus will take you to Cascade Locks. Once you arrive at the Cascade Locks stop, walk south on Cascade Locks Highway for about 0.5 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Oneonta Tunnel, which will be on your right.
Car
If you are coming from the east, take I-84 W and exit at Cascade Locks (exit 44). After exiting, follow the signs to Cascade Locks Highway. Continue straight for about 1 mile. Keep an eye out for the entrance to Oneonta Tunnel on your right side, where you'll find a designated parking area.

From Multnomah Falls, head east on the Historic Columbia River Highway (also known as the Old Columbia River Highway) for about 10 miles. Turn left onto Cascade Locks Highway and continue for about 1 mile. The Oneonta Tunnel will be on your right.
