    From Portland, take I-84 E towards The Dalles. Continue on I-84 E for about 40 miles until you reach Exit 44 for Cascade Locks. Merge onto Cascade Locks Highway and follow it as it becomes Hood River Highway. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Rock of Ages Trail. There you will find parking available near the trailhead.

    Take the Columbia Gorge Express bus from Portland to Cascade Locks. The bus will drop you off at the Cascade Locks town center. From there, you can walk or take a local taxi to Rock of Ages Trail. Head southeast on E. Cascade Avenue for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Rock of Ages Trail, where you will find the entrance.
