    Getting There

    Car

    If you are traveling by car, the Vista House at Crown Point is located at 40700 Historic Columbia River Hwy, Corbett, OR 97019. From Portland, take Interstate 84 East. After approximately 30 minutes, take exit 22 for Historic Columbia River Highway. Follow the signs for the Historic Columbia River Highway, and continue for about 15 minutes. The Vista House will be on your right. Make sure to look for the parking area adjacent to the building. There is no entry fee to visit the Vista House, but parking is available.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Vista House using public transportation, start by taking the MAX Light Rail from downtown Portland. Board the Blue Line towards Hillsboro and transfer at the Gateway/NE 99th Ave station to the Gresham MAX. Ride to the Gresham Transit Center. From there, you can catch the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus #77, which will take you toward Corbett. Ensure to check the CAT schedule as it may not run frequently. Get off at the stop nearest to the Vista House. After disembarking, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles uphill to reach the Vista House. Be prepared for some elevation gain.

    Bicycle

    For adventurous cyclists, the ride to Vista House offers scenic views. Starting from Portland, take the Springwater Corridor Trail to the Eastbank Esplanade, then connect to the Historic Columbia River Highway. The ride is about 25 miles and can take 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Be aware of traffic, and ensure you have appropriate safety gear. Bicycle racks are available at the Vista House.
