Getting There

• Car

  If you're already in Crater Lake National Park, make your way to the Rim Drive. This scenic drive encircles the lake and provides access to many viewpoints, including Vidae Falls. From the park entrance at the South Entrance, follow the signs to Rim Drive. Continue along Rim Drive for approximately 6 miles until you reach the Vidae Falls parking area, which is marked. The parking lot is located just off the road, and from there, you can easily walk to the falls.

• Public Transportation

  Currently, Crater Lake National Park does not have a public transportation system within the park. Visitors typically access the park via personal vehicles. If you are using public transportation to get to the park, you can take a bus to Klamath Falls, Oregon, and then arrange for a shuttle or rental car to reach the park's entrance. Once inside the park, you will need to use your vehicle to reach Vidae Falls as there are no internal shuttles for specific attractions.

• Walking

  Once you arrive at the Vidae Falls parking area, there is a short, well-maintained trail leading to the falls. The walk is approximately 0.2 miles and is relatively easy. Follow the path that is marked with signs directing you to Vidae Falls. This scenic walk provides beautiful views of the surrounding forest and the sound of the waterfall as you approach.
