Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from downtown Hood River, head east on Oak Street towards 1st Street. Turn left onto 1st Street and continue walking for about two blocks until you reach the intersection with Columbia Street. Turn right onto Columbia Street and walk until you reach the Waterfront Park. Continue walking along the waterfront path until you reach the railroad tracks. You will see signs directing you towards Mount Hood Railroad. The railroad station is located at 110 Railroad Street, Hood River, OR 97031.

• Public Bus

  From the downtown area, locate the nearest bus stop for the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus service. Check the schedule for the next bus to the Hood River Transit Center. Once you arrive at the Transit Center, transfer to the CAT Route 2, which will take you directly to the stop nearest to Mount Hood Railroad. Get off at the stop closest to Railroad Street and continue walking a few minutes towards 110 Railroad Street, where the railroad station is located.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike shops in downtown Hood River. Head east on Oak Street, then take a left onto 1st Street. Continue to Columbia Street and then cycle towards the waterfront. Follow the scenic bike paths along the Columbia River until you reach the railroad tracks. Mount Hood Railroad is located at 110 Railroad Street, which is just a short ride from the waterfront paths.
