Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Rawalakot from your current location in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Once you reach Rawalakot, follow the signs towards Darak Dam. You will take the Darak Hussain Kot Road, which leads directly to Dream Valley Resort. The resort is located approximately 15 kilometers from the Rawalakot city center. Be prepared for some winding roads as you approach the resort, and look out for the signposts indicating the way to the resort.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus or van from your location in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to Rawalakot. Once you arrive at the Rawalakot bus station, you can hire a local taxi or rickshaw to take you to Dream Valley Resort. Make sure to mention 'Darak Dam, Darak Hussain Kot Road' to the driver. The taxi ride should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions. The cost of the taxi ride may vary, so it's advisable to negotiate the fare in advance.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Darak Dam and prefer to walk, you can trek to Dream Valley Resort. From the dam, follow the trail leading to the resort, which is approximately 3 kilometers away. This route offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, but ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes and carry water with you. It may take about 45 minutes to an hour to reach the resort on foot.
