If you're traveling by car within Deosai National Park, you can access Sheosar Lake via the Deosai Park Road. From the main entrance of the park, follow the road for about 30 kilometers (approximately 1 hour) until you reach Sheosar Lake. The road is mostly well-maintained, but be cautious of any wildlife crossing and rough patches. Parking is available near the lake.

4x4 Vehicle
Due to the rugged terrain, it's recommended to use a 4x4 vehicle for the last stretch to Sheosar Lake. If you do not have a 4x4, you can rent one from Skardu. The trip from Skardu to Deosai takes about 2-3 hours. Once in Deosai, follow the main road towards Sheosar Lake, which will take another hour of travel. Keep in mind that hiring a local driver can enhance your experience, as they are familiar with the park's trails.

Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited. However, you can take a bus or shared jeep from Skardu to the Deosai Park entrance. The journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to arrange for a local jeep or hire a guide with a 4x4 vehicle to take you to Sheosar Lake, which is about an hour's drive from the entrance. Expect to pay around PKR 2000-3000 for the jeep hire.
