Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Take the Leh-Manali Highway (NH 3) and head towards the direction of Nimmu. After approximately 20 km, follow the signs towards the Khalsar Village. From Khalsar, continue on the road leading to Agham. The route will take you through scenic landscapes, and after about 50 km from Leh, you will reach the junction for Crystal Lake. The final stretch to the lake is a dirt road that may require a 4x4 vehicle due to its rugged terrain.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a shared taxi or a local bus from Leh to Agham, which is about 50 km away. Buses and shared taxis can be found at the main taxi stand in Leh. The fare is approximately PKR 500-700. Once you reach Agham, you can hire a local jeep to take you the remaining distance to Crystal Lake. The jeep hire will cost around PKR 1500-2000 for a round trip. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
