Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Skardu city. Drive towards Deosai National Park via the Skardu to Deosai Road. The journey will take around 2 hours (approximately 30 km). Once you enter Deosai National Park, continue on the main road until you reach the Sheosar Lake viewpoint. From there, take the road that leads towards Burji la Lake. The distance from Sheosar Lake to Burji la Lake is about 25 km, and the road may require a 4x4 vehicle due to its rugged terrain.

Public Transport
For those using public transportation, board a jeep or shared taxi from Skardu to Deosai National Park. This can be found near Alamdar Chowk in Skardu. The fare typically ranges between PKR 1500 to PKR 2500 per person. Once you reach the entrance of Deosai National Park, you will need to hire a local jeep to take you closer to Burji la Lake. The cost for this jeep ride can vary, so be prepared to negotiate, but expect to pay around PKR 3000 to PKR 5000 depending on your destination within the park.

If you are adventurous and would like to trek, you can start from Sheosar Lake. The trek to Burji la Lake is approximately 10 km and can take about 3-4 hours depending on your pace. The trail is marked, but it's advisable to have a local guide if you are unfamiliar with the terrain. Ensure you have proper trekking gear and enough water, as the area is remote and facilities are sparse.
