The archaeological remains are located just off the main road, and there is limited parking available nearby. Be mindful of local traffic regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Butkara III by public transportation, take a local bus or rickshaw from Mingora city center towards Saidu Sharif. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Butkara. The fare is usually around 50-100 PKR. Once you arrive at the Butkara area, you might need to walk a short distance (approximately 1 kilometer) to reach the archaeological site. Look for signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
Walking
If you are already in the Butkara area, you can reach the archaeological remains by walking. From the nearest bus stop or rickshaw drop-off point, walk south for about 1 kilometer along the main road. Follow the signs for Butkara III, and you will see the site on your right.
