Walking
From Gilgit city center, start at the main bus station. Head northeast towards the main road (Karimabad Road). Continue walking along the road for about 10 kilometers. You will pass through several small villages and can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Keep following the road signs directing you towards Hunza. After approximately 2 hours of walking, you will reach the turnoff for Eagle’s Nest Road on your right. Take this turn.
Hiking
Once you have taken the turn onto Eagle's Nest Road, continue walking for about 5 kilometers. The road will ascend gradually, and you will start to see stunning views of the surrounding mountains. This section may take around 1.5 hours to hike. Be cautious of the road conditions, as it may be uneven in some places. After reaching the top of the road, you will see signs directing you to Eagle's Nest Point. Follow these signs for the last 1 kilometer to reach the viewpoint.
