Walking
From the center of Gilgit, head towards the main bazaar. Once you reach the bazaar, look for a local bus or jeep station. There are often shared jeeps heading towards Sassi, which is the nearest point to Haramosh Valley. Board a jeep heading to Sassi and confirm with the driver that they will be stopping at the base of Haramosh Valley. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on road conditions.
Trekking
Upon arriving in Sassi, disembark from the jeep and ask locals for directions towards Haramosh Valley. The trek begins from the outskirts of Sassi and you will follow a well-trodden path that leads into the valley. The trek will take approximately 2-3 hours. Make sure to carry sufficient water and snacks, and wear appropriate trekking gear.
