Walking
Start your journey at the Gilgit main bazaar. From the main bazaar, head south towards the Gilgit River. Once you reach the river, follow the path along the riverbank until you see the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue walking along the dirt road that leads towards the Kharmang district. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path and continue straight for another 3 kilometers. You will see signboards directing you towards Khamosh Waterfall. Follow these signs, and after about 1 kilometer, you will arrive at the waterfall. The hike is relatively easy and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
Public Transport
Begin your trip at the Gilgit bus station. Board a local bus heading towards Kharmang. The bus will take you through scenic routes and drop you off at the nearest point to Shirting village. Once you arrive at the bus stop, ask locals for directions to Khamosh Waterfall. From the bus stop, it is a 2-kilometer walk along a well-trodden path that leads directly to the waterfall.
