Walking
From the center of Gilgit, head towards the main bus station located near the Gilgit River. Walk to the bus station and look for a shared van heading towards Hunza. These vans typically leave every 30 minutes. The journey will take approximately 2 hours. Once you reach Hunza, get off at Karimabad. From Karimabad, take a local taxi or a shared jeep towards Gojal. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kirgaswashk. The drive from Karimabad to Kirgaswashk will take about 1 hour. The jeep will take you along the Batura Track. Keep an eye out for the scenic views and be ready for some bumpy roads as you approach your destination.
Shared Van
After reaching Karimabad from Gilgit, you can also find a shared van that goes directly to Gojal. Ask around at the local shops or the bus station for the next shared van to Gojal. Once you arrive at Gojal, you can hire a local guide or a taxi to take you to Kirgaswashk. Make sure to negotiate the fare before getting in. This option may take slightly longer depending on the number of passengers in the van.
