Start from the Gilgit city center, specifically at the main bus station (Gulmit Bus Stand). From the bus station, walk towards the main road (N-35). Follow the road towards Hunza, which is approximately 100 km away. You will be walking along the Karakoram Highway, enjoying scenic views. Continue walking until you reach the village of Ganish, where you can take a break. From Ganish, keep walking along the road until you reach the turn-off for Batura Track. Turn onto Batura Track and continue walking until you reach Mulungin, which is approximately 10 km from the turn-off.

Hiking
If you prefer a more adventurous route, consider hiking from Ganish. From Ganish, follow the trails up into the mountains, which lead towards Mulungin. The hike is challenging and takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on your pace. Ensure you have proper hiking gear and plenty of water. Follow the signs and local trail markers along the way. The views from the trail will be breathtaking, showcasing the stunning landscapes of the Gilgit-Baltistan region.

Public Transportation
Take a local bus or hire a jeep from Gilgit to Ganish. The bus will drop you off in Ganish, which is a common stop for travelers heading towards Hunza. From Ganish, you will then need to walk to the Batura Track turn-off and continue on foot to Mulungin, as public transport does not extend beyond Ganish. The distance from Ganish to Mulungin is about 10 km.
