Car
From Gilgit, take the N-35 highway towards Hunza. Continue driving for approximately 130 kilometers until you reach the town of Karimabad. From Karimabad, follow the signs towards Gojal. After roughly 40 kilometers, you will arrive at the Batura Glacier Viewpoint, located at GV79+3GM, N-35. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountainous terrain, as the roads can be narrow and winding. There may be tolls along the highways, so keep some cash handy.

Public Transportation
Start your journey from Gilgit by taking a minibus or shared van bound for Hunza. The ride takes about 2-3 hours, and you can catch these vans near the Gilgit bus terminal. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Karimabad. Once in Karimabad, hire a local taxi or jeep to take you to the Batura Glacier Viewpoint. The taxi ride will take around 45 minutes and may cost between 2000 to 3000 PKR, depending on your negotiation skills and the vehicle type.

Hiking
If you're feeling adventurous and are already near Gojal, you can hike to the viewpoint. Start from the nearest village, which is Passu. The hike is approximately 8 kilometers and takes around 3-4 hours. Be sure to carry water, snacks, and a map, as the trails can be poorly marked. Local guides can be hired in Passu for a small fee, typically around 1000 PKR for a half-day trek.
