Walking
Start from the center of Gilgit city. Head towards the Gilgit River and follow the riverbank eastwards. You will eventually reach the main road that leads to Hunza. Continue walking along this road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the town of Karimabad. From Karimabad, you can take a local jeep or continue walking to Ghulkin, which is the nearest village to Patundas Meadows.
Jeep
From Karimabad, take a local jeep to Ghulkin. The jeeps are available from the main taxi stand in Karimabad. The journey will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Ghulkin, you can ask locals for directions to Patundas Meadows, which is a short trek from the village.
Trekking
From Ghulkin village, follow the well-marked trekking path that leads towards Patundas Meadows. The trek will take approximately 1-2 hours, depending on your pace. The trail is scenic, passing through lush greenery and offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Make sure to carry sufficient water and snacks for the trek.
