Walking
From the center of Gilgit, head towards the Old China Bridge. You can start at the main bazaar area, which is a known landmark. Walk east along the main road, passing by the local shops and eateries. Continue straight until you reach the Old China Bridge. This bridge is a significant landmark, so it should be easy to spot. Once you cross the bridge, you will see a sign directing you towards Danyore. From here, follow the signs for N-35, which will lead you to Muhammadabad. The Syed Abad Children Park is located near this area, specifically at the coordinates W92X+6RF. It should take you around 30-40 minutes to walk to the park from the main bazaar.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer public transport, you can find local buses at the main bus station in Gilgit. Look for a bus heading towards Danyore or Muhammadabad. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you need to get off at the Old China Bridge stop. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. After you get off, walk towards the bridge and follow the instructions for walking from the bridge to the park as mentioned earlier.
Rickshaw
You can also hire a rickshaw from any point in Gilgit. Simply tell the driver that you want to go to the Syed Abad Children Park near the Old China Bridge in Danyore. The ride should take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach the area, you can walk to the park from the drop-off point at the bridge.
