Take a bus from Leh to Skardu. Once in Skardu, look for shared jeep services that go towards the Neelum Valley. These shared jeeps are quite common and will take you through the beautiful landscapes towards Taobat. The journey may take several hours, so be prepared for a long ride. Make sure to inquire about the last jeep returning to Skardu as they may not run late in the evening.
