Car
If you are driving from Leh, take the NH1 towards Kargil. After about 120 km, turn left onto the road towards Nubra Valley. Continue on this road, passing through Diskit and Hunder. From Diskit, drive for approximately 33 km until you reach Turtuk. The Yabgo Palace is located in Turtuk, near coordinates 34.8459° N, 76.8236° E. Look for signs or ask locals for directions to Yabgo Palace, which is a short distance from the main road.
Public Transportation
To reach Turtuk via public transport, board a bus from Leh to Nubra Valley. These buses typically leave from the Leh Bus Stand. The journey will take around 5-6 hours. Once you arrive in Nubra Valley, you can take a shared taxi or local bus to Turtuk. The fare for the taxi will be around 500-700 Rs per person. Once in Turtuk, ask locals for directions to Yabgo Palace, which is a short walk from the main village.
Walking
If you're already in Turtuk, Yabgo Palace is accessible by foot. From the Turtuk main market area, follow the main road towards the north of the village. It takes approximately 15-20 minutes to walk to the palace. The locals are friendly and can provide directions if needed.
