Getting There

    From Leh, take the NH 1D towards Kargil. Drive approximately 230 km until you reach the town of Skardu. This journey will take about 8-9 hours, so consider stopping at scenic spots along the way. Once in Skardu, continue towards the Askole village, which is the last road-accessible point before trekking begins. The drive to Askole takes about 4-5 hours from Skardu. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain, as the road can be challenging.
