Getting There

Car
From Muzaffarabad, take the Neelum Valley Road towards Sharda. Continue on this road until you reach the village of Sharda. From Sharda, follow the road to Dowarian. The journey will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on road conditions. Once in Dowarian, look for the trail leading to Ratti Gali Lake. You may need to park your car at Dowarian and continue on foot as the last part of the journey is a trek.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take a bus or a van from Muzaffarabad to Sharda. The fare generally ranges from PKR 300-500. Once you arrive in Sharda, switch to a local jeep service that can take you to Dowarian. This jeep ride should cost around PKR 700-1000. Upon reaching Dowarian, you will need to hike to Ratti Gali Lake as the jeeps cannot go further due to rough terrain.

From Dowarian, prepare for a hike to Ratti Gali Lake. The trek is approximately 2-3 hours long and can be challenging. Ensure you have proper hiking gear, water, and snacks.
