Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car from Ratti Gali Lake to Ghamot National Park, start by heading southeast along the Ratti Gali Lake access road. Follow the signs leading you towards the Neelum Valley. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach a junction where you should take a right turn towards Surgan Det. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach Surgan Det. Ghamot National Park will be on your left side. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountainous terrain, as some parts of the road may be rough.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Ghamot National Park using public transportation, begin at the nearest bus stop in Ratti Gali Lake. Look for a local bus or jeep heading towards Neelum Valley. The fare is usually around 200 PKR. Ask the driver to drop you off at Surgan Det. From Surgan Det, you can either walk towards Ghamot National Park, which is about a 2-kilometer trek, or hire a local taxi for approximately 500 PKR to take you directly to the park entrance.
