Car
From Rama Valley, take the main road heading towards Karimabad. Follow the signs for Hunza and continue for approximately 2-3 hours, depending on road conditions. As you approach Karimabad, you will see the Baltit Fort sign posted along the road. Park your car in one of the designated parking areas near the fort. The fort is a short walk from the parking area, and there are plenty of signs to guide you.

Public Transportation
Catch a local bus or shared taxi from Rama Valley to Karimabad. Buses and shared taxis leave regularly from the local transport hub. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once in Karimabad, you can walk to Baltit Fort. Look for signs pointing towards the fort; it is about a 15-20 minute walk uphill from the main road.

If you are already in Karimabad, make your way to the base of the hill where Baltit Fort is located. Start walking towards the fort, following the signs. The trail is well-marked and takes about 15-20 minutes to hike up to the fort entrance. Be prepared for a moderately steep incline.
