Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Rama Valley. Head towards Gilgit on the main road. After approximately 30 kilometers, keep an eye out for signs leading to Baseen. You will need to turn onto Main Kargah Road. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the area known as Napora. The Buddha De Yasheni site is located near the end of this road. Make sure to park your vehicle in designated areas to avoid any fines.

Public Transportation
For public transportation, look for local buses or shared vans heading towards Gilgit from Rama Valley. Ask the driver to drop you off at Baseen. Once you arrive in Baseen, you may need to hire a taxi or a local motorbike to take you the remaining distance to Buddha De Yasheni. The taxi fare should be negotiated beforehand; expect to pay around 500-1000 PKR depending on the distance and your bargaining skills. The drive will take approximately 20 minutes.

If you are particularly adventurous and enjoy trekking, you can consider walking the last segment from Baseen to Buddha De Yasheni. The walk will take around 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Follow the main trail that leads from Baseen to Napora, and ask locals for directions to ensure you are on the right path. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry enough water for the walk.
