From Ratti Gali Lake, head back to the main road by following the trail you took to arrive at the lake. Once you reach the main road, drive towards the town of Neelum. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. After reaching Neelum, continue driving towards Mendi, which is about a 30-minute drive from Neelum. The road can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully. Look for signs pointing to Mendi, as it is a smaller locality.

From Ratti Gali Lake, you will need to return to Neelum by the same trail. Once you reach the main road, you can catch a local bus or a shared taxi to Neelum. The bus will take around 1.5 hours to reach Neelum. Once in Neelum, look for local transport options (shared taxis or buses) heading towards Mendi. The journey from Neelum to Mendi will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the schedule as public transport may not run frequently.

For the adventurous, you can hike from Ratti Gali Lake to Mendi Valley. The hike is challenging and requires good physical fitness. Start by following the trail back to the main road and then continue towards Mendi. This trek can take 5-6 hours, depending on your pace.
