Getting There

Walking
From the central Skardu Bazaar, head towards the Skardu Fort located on the hill. Once you reach the base of the fort, you will find a road heading north. Follow this road, which will eventually turn into Airport Road. Continue straight on Airport Road for about 4 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards K2 Base Camp Treks on your left just before reaching Maqponsar.

Rickshaw
From the Skardu Bus Station, take a rickshaw directly to K2 Base Camp Treks. Inform the driver that you want to go to Airport Road, Maqponsar. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare before you start your journey.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from Skardu city center. Head towards the Skardu Fort, then follow the same route as walking. Keep pedaling straight along Airport Road for about 4 kilometers. Look for K2 Base Camp Treks on your left once you reach Maqponsar.
