Bus
From Colon, head to the bus terminal located near the city center. You can ask locals for directions to 'Terminal de Transporte de Colón'. Once there, look for buses heading to Parque Nacional Soberanía or Gamboa. The fare is usually around $3. Make sure to confirm with the driver that the bus will pass near Canopy Tower or the Soberania National Park entrance.
Shared Taxi (Colectivo)
Alternatively, you can take a shared taxi (known as 'colectivo') from Colon to Gamboa. Find a colectivo stand in the city; they usually wait near popular spots or the bus terminal. The ride will cost about $5-$10 per person and will take you directly towards Gamboa. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Soberania National Park, which is the nearest point to Canopy Tower.
Walking from the park entrance
Once you arrive at the entrance of Soberania National Park, you will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers to reach Canopy Tower. Follow the signs leading to the tower; the path is well-marked and should take about 30-45 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as it can get hot.
