    Starting from the Portobelo town square (Plaza de Portobelo), head east on Calle 1 towards the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Avenida Central. Turn left onto Avenida Central and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will see signs directing you to Fuerte San Jerónimo. Keep following the path as it curves slightly to the right. The entrance to the fort will be on your right side.

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the waterfront area of Portobelo. Ride along the main road (Avenida Central) heading east. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see the signs for Fuerte San Jerónimo. There is a designated parking area for bicycles near the entrance of the fort.

    From the main bus terminal in Portobelo, take any bus heading towards the eastern beaches or the local area. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Fuerte San Jerónimo. The bus will drop you off near the entrance of the fort. Just walk a few meters back to reach the entrance.
