If you are starting from downtown Erie, head to the nearest bus stop for the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA). Take the Route 1 bus heading west towards Millcreek Mall. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop near the intersection of W 6th St and Cherry St. From there, walk west on W 6th St for approximately 0.5 miles. The Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier will be on your left at 1501 W 6th St.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local shop. Starting from downtown Erie, take State St heading west until you reach W 6th St. Turn left onto W 6th St and continue cycling for about 1 mile. The Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier will be on your left at 1501 W 6th St. There are bike racks available at the arboretum for parking.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the Erie County Public Library. Head west on E 2nd St until you reach State St. Turn right on State St and continue until you reach W 6th St. Turn left onto W 6th St and walk for approximately 1.5 miles. You will see the Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier at 1501 W 6th St on your left. The walk will take about 30-40 minutes.
