If you are starting from Downtown Erie, head east on State Street towards the intersection with East 21st Street. Continue straight until you reach Sassafras Street. Turn left onto Sassafras Street and walk north for about 5 blocks. The West 21st Street Historic District will be on your right, specifically between the addresses 2199 and 2101 Sassafras Street.

From the Erie Intermodal Transportation Center, take the Route 2 bus towards East Lake Road. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the Sassafras Street stop. Walk north on Sassafras Street for about 2 blocks. The West 21st Street Historic District will be on your right, located between the addresses 2199 and 2101 Sassafras Street.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike at one of the local bike-sharing stations. Start from the Bayfront Parkway and head east towards State Street. Turn left on State Street and continue until you reach East 21st Street. Turn left again and bike north to Sassafras Street. Turn right on Sassafras Street and continue for about 5 minutes. The West 21st Street Historic District will be on your right at 2199-2101 Sassafras Street.
