Start at the Erie Bayfront Convention Center. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Route 4 bus towards the East Erie area. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop at East 6th Street and East Avenue. From this stop, transfer to the Route 1 bus heading towards the Downtown Erie area. Ride for another 10 minutes until you reach the stop at East 3rd Street and French Street. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk down East 3rd Street to the waterfront, where you will find Fort De La Presqu' Ile located at 300-398 E Front St. Follow the signs along the waterfront for the best scenic route.

If you are in downtown Erie, head towards the waterfront area. Begin at the Erie Maritime Museum located on East 2nd Street, then walk towards the bay. Continue walking east along the waterfront until you reach the intersection of E Front St and E 3rd St. Fort De La Presqu' Ile is located at 300-398 E Front St, just a few blocks from the museum. Enjoy the beautiful view of the lake as you walk along the path.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Erie Bayfront Park. Follow the paved bike path along the bayfront, heading east. The path will lead you directly toward Fort De La Presqu' Ile. It’s a scenic ride that should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Make sure to follow the signs for the waterfront bike path and enjoy the views of Lake Erie as you ride.
