If you are starting from the Gettysburg Visitor Center, exit the center and head south on Baltimore Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles. You will pass various shops and restaurants along the way. Look for the address 785 Baltimore St on your right-hand side; it is a few steps past the intersection with East Middle Street. The Civil War Tails at the Homestead Diorama Museum will be on your right.

Public Transit (Bus)
From the Gettysburg Visitor Center, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Steinwehr Avenue. Board the Adams County Transit Bus that goes towards the Gettysburg Outlet Shoppes. Request to be dropped off at the stop closest to Baltimore Street. Once you get off, walk back north on Baltimore Street for about a block. The museum is located at 785 Baltimore St, just before the intersection with East Middle Street.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Gettysburg Visitor Center. Head south on Baltimore Street. The route is approximately 0.5 miles long and is fairly flat.
