Walking
If you are starting from the Gettysburg Visitor Center, exit the center and head north on Taneytown Road. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Baltimore Street. Cross Baltimore Street to continue on Taneytown Road. After you cross, continue walking for another 0.3 miles, and you will see the Second Memorial to the Fifth New York Light Artillery on your right, just past the intersection with Wheatfield Road.

From the Gettysburg Visitor Center, rent a bike from one of the nearby bike rental shops. Head north on Taneytown Road, cycling for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Baltimore Street. Make sure to stay in the bike lane. After crossing Baltimore Street, continue on Taneytown Road for about 0.3 miles. The Second Memorial to the Fifth New York Light Artillery will be on your right, just past Wheatfield Road.

Public Transportation
Although Gettysburg has limited public transportation, you can take the Gettysburg Trolley Tour which offers a stop near the Second Memorial to the Fifth New York Light Artillery. Board the trolley from the Gettysburg Visitor Center and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop closest to the memorial. The trolley will take you along a scenic route, and you will be dropped off near the memorial site.
