From the center of City Hall, head northwest on Broad St toward JFK Blvd. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Race St. Turn left onto Race St, and walk for another 0.2 miles. When you reach 7th St, turn right and continue walking for approximately 0.1 miles. The Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site will be on your left at 532 N 7th St.

From City Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop at 15th St & JFK Blvd. Take the bus Route 17 toward 8th St & Lehigh Ave. Ride for about 7 minutes and get off at the stop at 7th St & Girard Ave. From there, walk south on 7th St for about 0.3 miles. The Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site will be on your right at 532 N 7th St. Note: A single ride on the bus costs $2.50.

From the City Hall subway station, take the Broad Street Line (orange line) northbound toward Fern Rock. Ride for 3 stops and get off at the 8th St station. Exit the station and walk 0.4 miles north on 8th St, then turn left onto Race St, and right onto 7th St. The Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site will be on your left at 532 N 7th St. The subway fare is $2.50.
