Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the Liberty Bell Center, head east on Market Street towards 5th Street. After about 0.2 miles, turn left onto 5th Street, and continue for two blocks until you reach Arch Street. Turn right onto Arch Street and walk for about 0.1 miles. The Betsy Ross House will be on your left at 239 Arch St.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  If you're near the Philadelphia Museum of Art, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of 24th Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Take the bus route 38 towards '91st Street' and get off at the stop at 5th Street and Arch Street. From there, walk east on Arch Street for two blocks. The Betsy Ross House will be on your left at 239 Arch St.

• Public Transit (Subway)

  If you are near the City Hall subway station, take the Broad Street Line (Orange Line) towards NRG Station. Get off at the 8th Street station. Exit the station and walk east on Chestnut Street until you reach 5th Street. Turn right onto 5th Street and walk for about two blocks to Arch Street. Turn left onto Arch Street, and the Betsy Ross House will be on your left at 239 Arch St.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start from the Schuylkill River Trail and head towards the city center. Once you reach the intersection of 15th Street and John F. Kennedy Blvd, go north on 15th Street until you hit Arch Street. Turn right onto Arch Street and continue for about 0.5 miles. The Betsy Ross House will be on your right at 239 Arch St.
