If you're driving within Presque Isle State Park, head towards the entrance that leads to Eastside Drive. Follow Eastside Drive until you reach the intersection with the park's main loop road. Turn left onto the loop road and continue straight. Look for signs directing you towards the exit of the state park. Once you exit the park, merge onto PA-5 E towards Erie. Follow PA-5 E for approximately 5 miles. Take the exit for E 12th St and turn right onto E 12th St. Continue for about 1 mile, then turn left onto E Front St. Fort De La Presqu' Ile will be on your left at 300-398 E Front St, Erie, PA 16507.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking the Presque Isle State Park Shuttle, which operates seasonally. Get off at the last stop, and then walk towards the exit of the park. From there, you can catch a local bus (Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority) at the nearest bus stop on E 12th St. Take the bus heading towards Downtown Erie. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop for E Front St. From there, it's a short walk to Fort De La Presqu' Ile at 300-398 E Front St.

If you're cycling within Presque Isle State Park, start by taking the paved bike paths toward the entrance of the park. Once you exit the park, continue on the bike path along the lakeshore until you reach E Front St. Turn right onto E Front St and follow it for a short distance. Fort De La Presqu' Ile will be on your left at 300-398 E Front St.

If you prefer to walk from within Presque Isle State Park, exit the park by walking towards the main entrance where Eastside Drive meets the main loop road.
