Getting There

• Driving

  If you are already in Presque Isle State Park, start by following the main park road, which is named Peninsula Drive. Continue driving along Peninsula Drive until you reach the Beach 11 area. Look for signs directing you to Beach 11; this is where Presque Isle Beach is located. There is ample parking available near the beach area. Parking is free, but be aware that the park may charge a small entrance fee during peak seasons. Follow the signs to the beach from the parking area.

• Biking

  For those who enjoy biking, Presque Isle State Park has a network of bike paths. If you are in the park, you can bike along Peninsula Drive towards Beach 11. The ride is approximately 1.5 miles from the entrance. Look for designated bike path signs to ensure you are on the correct route. Biking is a great way to enjoy the scenery of the park while heading to the beach.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, you can take a leisurely stroll along the scenic paths in Presque Isle State Park. From the park entrance, walk along Peninsula Drive, which is pedestrian-friendly.   Currently, there is limited public transportation directly to Presque Isle Beach. However, you can take the public bus to the Erie area and then use a taxi or rideshare service to reach the park. If you arrive in downtown Erie, you can get a taxi or use a rideshare app to get to Beach 11. The cost may vary based on your pickup location, but expect to pay around $10-$20 for the ride.
