If you are driving to the Chan Chan Site Museum from the city of Huaraz, take the Pan-American Highway (Route 1N) heading north towards Trujillo. After approximately 7 hours of driving, you will reach the city of Trujillo. Once in Trujillo, follow the signs to Huanchaco, which is about 12 kilometers from the city center. Upon reaching Huanchaco, navigate to Av. Mansiche. The museum is located at VWXM+XPM, Av. Mansiche, Huanchaco 13011. There is parking available near the museum.
Public Transportation
To reach Chan Chan Site Museum by public transportation, start from Huaraz and take a bus to Trujillo. The bus ride will take around 7 hours.
