If you're traveling by car, start from the city of Huaraz, which is the capital of Ancash. Take Avenida Luzuriaga and head east to connect with the PE-3N highway. Continue on PE-3N for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Casma. From Casma, follow the signs to Atipayan. The Dunas de Ancash are located approximately 15 kilometers from Casma. Look for the coordinates MCFQ+X6M, Atipayan 02110 to navigate directly to the site.

To reach Dunas de Ancash via public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in Huaraz. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Casma. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the bus service. Once you arrive in Casma, you can take a local taxi or a 'mototaxi' (a three-wheeled taxi) to reach the Dunas de Ancash.
